La Napoule Art Foundation

Welcome to the La Napoule Art Foundation Online Database

Marie Clews founded La Napoule Art Foundation in 1951 in memory of her husband, the prolific American Sculptor, Henry Clews Jr. Their historic home and studio in the Château de La Napoule today houses a museum collection of Clews’ work, showcases contemporary exhibitions, and hosts artists from around the world for residencies.

In the collection you will find sculptures and paintings by Henry Clews, Clews China and decorative objects, as well as architectural features created by Henry and Marie throughout the Château and grounds.
